Big day for these guys at the same lake as us!

Hello, how are you doing? Hopefully this letter finds you in good standings. I finally got the boat out to Nimisila today. Got there at about 6:00 a.m. I started with a Spittin Image top water lure, my Dad with a small crankbait. I caught 2 on the topwater lure, both of them were around 13". My dad caught 4 bass on his crank, all were SMALL!!!!! When I say small, I mean 6-9", now thats small!! (he,he). Eventually I used my favborite lure, the Spinnerbait. I caught 4 bass on the spinner, the biggest being 17". The spinner was a white FLW tour spinner titanium wire with a pearl color jerk-bait for a trailer. Most of the bass were caught in the morning, with exception to the 17" bass. It was caught at exactly 12:03 p.m. All in all it was a fun trip, just wish the fish were of more size. But like I always say, try the white spinner with double willowleaf blades (silver) around the timber and the rocky areas near the dam. Thats about it, oh yeah, I got into an argument with a fella who tried taking a bass around 10" home with him. He told me a few choice words and I asked if he thought the game warden would like to see what was in his basket!? He declined to answer and put the fish back in the lake where it belonged. Anyhow, thatsb about it, so good fishin in the future!!
