Water Clarity

Seems the Zebra mussels ,once only a Lake Erie disaster, are now flexing their muscles in our inland lakes! This sure makes some of the lakes more difficult to fish due to the water being clear as a bell near shore and individual cover . When there has not been much rain to cloud the water and cut visibility these tiny creatures are hard at work doing their part to add to the clarity problems at West Branch Lake and others. Don't you just love that crunching sound as you stroll the shoreline when the water is down. Then of course you have the odor factor. Ah nature! Oh well, we may as well get used to it because, like jet skies, they are a fact of life. Finesse fishing anyone?  Related article
